A PERFORMING TOUR OF FRANCE

A charming tour for choirs, bands and orchestras wishing to give concerts as they travel through France. The itinerary includes Paris, Normandy, the Loire Valley, Burgundy and Lyon, with a full programme of sightseeing and cultural visits along the way. Concerts are arranged in Cathedrals, chateaux and historic buildings. An extension to Provence and the Riviera can also be included as required.

MUSICAL TREASURES OF AUSTRIA AND BAVARIA

This tour travels from Vienna to Munich, highlighting the great musical heritage of the Austrian capital. Visit the homes of Beethoven and Schubert, tour the famous Opera House, enjoy a day excursion to the Vienna Woods and to Eisenstadt for its Haydn connections. A general cultural programme in the city includes performances for choirs, bands and orchestras, or tickets to a concert or opera for non-performing parties. Continue along the Danube Valley to Bruckner's former home town; enjoy a stay in Salzburg for a tour and free time to explore Mozart's birthplace; discover the Austrian Lake District, favoured by Brahms, Strauss and Lehar in the last century. End your programme in Bavaria, where you will tour the delightful countryside and enjoy a city-stay in Munich. Only possible during the Opera season of September-May, this tour includes visits to the great operatic centres of Italy; Rome, Naples, Venice, and, of course, Milan. A programme of sightseeing in the cities and countryside is interwoven with attendance at the opera. We arrange concerts for choirs, bands and orchestras who are combining a performance tour with the chance to experience some of the world's most prestigious opera.
