The inaugural FLAVOUR; Nottinghamshire's Real Food Festival is scheduled to take place at

Clumber Park on Sunday 7th September 2008 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m..

FLAVOUR is designed as a shop-window for small producers and independent retailers wanting to increase their visibility in the market. The emphasis for the Festival is on FOOD; a few retailers of auxiliary services (cooking schools, kitchen implement suppliers etc) will be invited to take part, but the majority of exhibitors will be focussing on food, allowing buyers to enjoy tasting experiences and one-to-one discussions with producers on the subject of provenance and processes.

Clumber Park averages around 3,000 visitors on a Sunday in September, providing a significant number of potential customers to exhibitors at the Festival. The Festival will be held in a Marquee located between the National Trust Shop and Restaurant, and the Walled Garden, one of the main attractions of the Park. There will be no entrance fee to the Festival (normal entrance fees to Clumber Park apply).

The cost of a simple table-top sales area begins at £ 100 + VAT if you take advantage of our Early Bird Offer for bookings received and prepaid by 30th May 2008. Full details of prices can be found below.

We will be promoting the Festival through the following channels:-

- Advertising in local Lifestyle magazines and newspapers

- Poster and leaflet campaign at Clumber Park in advance of the Festival

- Banner advertising on the main A 614 road at Clumber in advance of the Festival

- Flyers provided free of charge to all participating sellers, to be distributed to their regular clients

- Web site promotion

- Prize draws at the Show

ABOUT THE VENUE

Clumber Park is part of Nottinghamshire's famous 'Dukeries' region, formerly the seat of many titled families. The Park is made up of nearly 4,000 acres of woodland, heath and farmland, and is extremely popular with walkers and cyclists from the nearby cities of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. Clumber welcomes an average of 3,000 visitors per Sunday in September.

Our aim is to provide a lively event which will provide an effective, value-for-money marketing tool to quality food producers and retailers, and an enjoyable and lively event for buyers. There will be no entrance fee for buyers at the Show, which we hope will encourage attendance (normal entrance fees to Clumber Park will apply to all buyers). We hope that the Show will become a regular event.

SHOW PARTICIPATION; PRICES

£ 100 + VAT for all applications received and prepaid in full by 30th May 2008

£ 120 + VAT for all applications received after 30th May 2008

The price includes the following:-

- Exhibition space of approximately 3m x 2.5m in the Festival Marquee

- Detailed entry and description of your Company in the Show Catalogue

A basic Furniture Package is available for £10.00 + VAT. The Package includes one Table (6-feet x 2 feet-3 inches) and two Chairs, plus signage.

Exhibition Space consists of an area approximately 3 metres x 2.5 metres.

One rectangular table and two chairs can also be provided if required. If you wish to set up a Stand-Alone Sales Display, to bring a Generator with you, or to cook Tasters of your product, please furnish details to us in advance.
